Please take a look at our instructional how-to videos.

We have a number of instructional videos that we are creating for our clients. If you would like to have anything added please contact us at mvvetclinic@sbcglobal.net.

How to brush your pet's teeth: It is important for your pets to have good dental health. Without proper dental care, bad teeth can cause damage to the heart, liver and kidneys.

How to remove a tick from your pet: It is especially important to remove the head of the tick when you are trying to remove a tick. This method is the best way we have found to do that. The earlier ticks are removed the less chance they have of transmitting disease to your pet including Lyme, anaplasmosis, and ehrlichiosis. We recommend that you use gloves while removing any tick from your pet, and also wash your hands after you are finished.

How to put an e-collar on your pet: It is important after any procedure to keep an e-collar on your pet. If it is improperly put on or improperly sized they could lick or chew at the affected area and cause damage.

How to give your dog a toenail trim: Work your way back from the tip of the toenail until you see a moist spot in the middle. It can vary in color according to the color of your pet's nail. Do not cut any more from that nail, that is the beginning of the quick and they will start to bleed if you continue.
